For first time Trekkers like Sreepriya and I, the Annapurna trek was indeed an awesome experience. It was with a certain amount of trepidation that I joined the trek considering the surgery my knee joint had undergone but there was no cause for any worry for the whole trek was organized in a completely professional manner. From the moment we landed in Kathmandu and till the time we left,we were literally hand-held and the trek itself was tailored to the state of our physical condition of the day! Walking in three feet of snow ( yes it snowed all night while we were at MBC), ice ,sleet and and slush was not easy . But our two guides Tschering and Arjun made it as easy as a walk in the park! The tea houses we stayed in along the way couldn't have been any better. With hot food and clean warm beds .. One couldn't ask for more! Kudos to Getupandgo for the impeccable arrangements and I am sure that we'll be back for more.

The weekend of April 26th is one that I will never forget, for two reasons -- 1) It was the weekend of my Bachelor Party, and 2) It was the weekend of my Bachelor Party Fourteen of my closest friends and I unequivocally decided that Thailand was the best place to celebrate. I immediately reached out to Arjan to help us with all the arrangements. Typically, planning a weekend vacation for a small family of four is quite chaotic. Planning a bachelor weekend for 14 men is not exactly a walk in the park. And believe me, we weren’t exactly easy clients. Arjan organized the travel, accommodation, food, transport, sight-seeing -- the works! I’m not exaggerating when I say this, but, we had the time of our lives! We had a fantastic time during our stay in Turkey, an excellent destination with excellent arrangements. All arrangements of transfer, hotel stay, daily tours and internal fights were superb.
