This trek is considered as one of the most beautiful and easiest in Garhwal Himalayas. It takes us from bliss giving valleys of Ganges to crystal clear lake of Devriatal. We also visit famous Panch Kedar temple ‘Tungnath’ during this trip. The main attraction of this trail is fabulous views of the Himalayan peaks from any point of trail. During this trip we do mountain biking through dense alpine forest with blooming rhododendrons and laid-back villages. We end our trip with a thrilling run of white-water rafting down the Ganges.

DAY 1, 1 OCT: ARRIVAL AT HARIDWAR AND TRANSFER TO SYALSOUR (150km; 6hrs)
Arrive at Jolly Grant airport and drive to Koudiyala (2 hrs) for lunch. Drive further to Syalsour log huts for night stay. Dinner and night stay in GMVN log huts.

DAY 2, 2 OCT: SYALSOUR TO SARI VILLAGE (1 hr drive).TREK TO DEVRIATAL (1,800 m, 2 kms; 1 hr)
Breakfast and drive from Syalsour to Sari Village, our starting point on the trek. Devriatal is a picture perfect place for trekkers and nature lovers with its variety of birds and the great views of the Himalayas. We can see Choukhamba, Kedar, Neelkanth, Kirti stambh and many other unnamed peaks. Overnight camping at Devriatal. *Hot lunch at Devrialtal.

DAY 3, 3 OCT: DEVRIATAL TO CHOPTA (3,000 m / 9,840 ft; 12 kms; 5-6 hrs)
After breakfast we start our trail from Devriatal to Chopta. This is a gentle climb on the ridge connecting to the meadows of Chopta and other northeast meadows towards Madhmaheswar. Today’s walk passes through dense semi-alpine forests of rhododendron and oak, and there is also a possibility of seeing some wildlife as barking deer, sambar and lots of Himalayan birds. After a few ups and downs, a final climb will take you at the best camping spot and fabulous views of the Himalayas, and a beautiful sunset to Chopta. Overnight camping at Chopta. *Packed lunch.

DAY 4, 4 OCT: CHOPTA TO CHANDRASILA AND BACK (4,130 m / 13,564 ft; 8 kms/ 4 – 5 hrs both ways)
After breakfast we do a day excursion from Chopta i.e. trek to Chandrasilla top via Tungnath temple which is one of the ‘Panch Kedar’. The pathway is gentle with few zigzag climb till the Tungnath. A steep (1km) climb leads towards Chandrasilla peak, which best known for its breathtaking views of the Himalayas with views of Nanda Devi, Trisul, Dunagiri, Hathi peak, Neelkanth, Choukhamba and all connecting peaks towards Gangotri. We descend down to our base. Overnight Camping. *Packed lunch.

DAY 5, 5 OCT: CYCLE FROM CHOPTA TO SYALSOUR (40 km downhill). DRIVE TO RISHIKESH (40 km; 2 hrs)
After breakfast, we ride our mountain bikes through beautiful forests and laidback villages to Syalsour. Lunch and drive to Koudiyala camp for night stay.

DAY 6, 6 OCT: RAFTING IN RISHIKESH FROM MARINE DRIVE POINT (25 kms stretch; 4 hrs)
Breakfast and raft down Marine Drive to Rishikesh through many rapids like Good Morning, Three Blind Mice, Body Surfing, Roller Coaster, Golf Course, Club House and Cliff Jump etc. Check in our hotel for lunch and change of clothes. Evening visit to Parmath Niketan for Ganga aarti and shopping. Night stay in the hotel.

DAY 7, 7 OCT: RISHIKESH-HARIDWAR/DEHRADUN DROP. FINAL DEPARTURE
Today depart for your onward travels. We drop you at Hairdwar station/Dehradun airport for your further journey back home.
