On this tour, we will explore the wild side of Gujarat. Visit the beautiful, off-the-beaten track Velavadar National park, which is famous for it’s black bucks and watch the last of the remaining Asiatic lions at the Gir National Park. The tour also visits the ancient sight of Lothal, once an important trading town during the Mature Harrapan period.

On this tour, we will explore the wild side of Gujarat. DAY 1 ARRIVAL BHAVNAGAR

Arrival Bhavnagar Arrival at Bhavnagar. Transfer to hotel. Evening local Sightseeing . Overnight stay at Bhavnagar.

DAY 2 BHAVNAGAR – VELVADAR- BHAVNAGAR

Bhavnagar – Velavadar – Bhavnagar Morning proceed for Velavadar. Visit Velavadar National Park. Return back to hotel. O/n stay at Bhavnagar.

DAY 3 BHAVNAGAR – SASAN GIR

Bhavnagar – Sasan Gir After breakfastt proceed for Sasan Gir. Overnight stay at Sasan Gir.

DAY 4 SASAN GIR

Sasan Gir Enjoy a morning safari to Gir National Park. Sasan Gir Lion sanctuary is home of some 300 Asiatic Lions. Sasan Gir is only place in world outside African continent where lion can be seen in its natural habitat. Overnight at Sasan Gir.

DAY 5 SASAN GIR- JUNAGADH- DASADA

Sasan Gir – Junagadh – Gondal – Dasada After B/F Drive to Dasada. Enroute visit Junagadh, visit of UPERKOT FORT, is an ancient fort built by Chandr Gupta. The fort as been rebuilt & extended many times. Later visit of Ashokan Edicts,Mahabat Maqbara. The Ashoka’s Rock edict is on way of Girnar hill temple. The rock engraved with the Buddhist edicts of Ashoka. The edicts impart moral instruction on dharma, harmony,tolerance and peace.Visit Veerpur-Jalaram Bapa Temple. Gondal, vNaulakha palace, it is a festival of stone carvings with balconies. It gift for Maharaja Bhagwat Sinh ji on his silver jubilee as ruler of Gondal. Visit of vintage car collection , have a collection of several vintage and classical cars including a 1910 new engine with so many imposing American cars of the 1940s. Later visit of Swaminarayan Temple, Bhuvneshwary Ayurvedic Library, which makes the herbal medicines according to ancient principals.Overnight stay at Dasada.

DAY 6 DASADA

Dasada Enjoy morning safari at Little Rann Of Kutch viewing rarest wild asses in the region followed by village safari in the evening. Wild ass sanctuary The sanctuary is well known for its group of the stale joke brown Asiatic (Wild ass), which does not live elsewhere in Indian lowlands. We can see with Little Rann of Kutch blackbuck (Indian antelope), nilgai or blue bull (India’s largest antelope) and the graceful chinkara (Indian gazelle) are other mammals. The main carnivores of the Little Rann of Kutch are the endangered Indian wolf, desert fox, Indian fox, jackals, desert and jungle cats, and a few hyenas; also we can see during the visits flamingoes, pelicans, ducks, cranes and storks. Village safari We can do excursion safari tours of pastoral settlements and villages along the Rann of Kutch. The tours visit the rural Vadiara and Kharapat Rabaris of Dasada, known for their embroideries, the silk-weavers colony at Dasada, and Ambala village of the Bharward shepherds and goatherds. The weaving cooperative at Bajana and other artisans’ workshops can also be included in the tours. Other societies near Dasada are Padhars (primarily fishing people), the Siddis and the semi-nomadic Mirs, Jaths (Muslim herders), Bajanias. Overnight stay at Dasada.

DAY 7 DASADA-LOTHAL- AHMEDABAD – FINAL DEPARTURE

Dasada – Lothal – Ahmedabad Drive to Ahmedabad. Enroute visit Lothal – Lothal, literally “Mound of the Dead”, is the most extensively excavated site of Harappan culture in India, and therefore allows the most insight into the story of the Indus Valley Civilization, its exuberant flight, and its tragic decay. Evening TFR to Ahmedabad Airport /Railway station for onward journey.
